It departed from its mother to join a trainer’s adventures, and sadly say goodbye,

Paul gave the chains holding him a yank, gritting his teeth in frustration when they refused to magically give way or budge in face of his assault. His wrists, already having to endure the abuse of his struggling for the past few hours, flared hotly in response before subsiding into a dull, ever-present ache.
